Ian is a great fan of  Kurt Kobain, the famed singer who committed suicide in 1994. Kurt was a working class man who shunned the limelight and spoke of the working class as the soul of the world. So Ian was depicted in the Aussie blue singlet and sweat dripping down his face to represent the working class.

The tattoo is of Kurt shooting himself is dramatic for sure and a magnificent piece of work honouring the man.
