Stakeholders gain an understanding of the course design model, Understanding by Design (UbD), Universal Design for learning, digital accessibility, and a variety or teachign and learning strategies.

In this 60 minute conference presentation we examine the cases of 2 eLearning development projects that were derailed by different factors, and the actions of the instructional designers to get them back on track. The outcome for each situation was less-than-ideal, but helped the IDs to develop a toolkit of strategies and assets for subsequent eLearning collaborations.

Details: A brief presentation followed by hands-on practice of SCA techniques, with a standardized patient in an acute care hospital unit. This was followed by discussion and debrief. Includes the reusable SCA tool.
