Check Lost & Found for Missing Items

Students often remove their sweatshirts or jackets during outdoor recess and forget to bring them back to class. Sometimes jewelry, money, and other small items are left behind as well. These items are turned into the school “Lost & Found” by our yard duty and custodian.

“Lost & Found” larger items are added to the clothes rack or plastic baskets near the cafeteria. Money, jewelry, and glasses are kept in the school office.  Please be sure to check the rack or with the office if your child is missing any items. We make every effort to return labeled clothing, lunch bags, backpacks, etc., to their rightful owners so PLEASE write your child’s name on all personal belongings.

To minimize volunteer time and keep Lost & Found manageable, a list of lost items will no longer be generated and posted to this webpage.  At the beginning of each month, ALL items will automatically become part of Simonds’ Clothes Closet. Uniform items will be sold during our yearly Uniform Sale for $2 each, non uniform items will be donated to Goodwill. If you think your item may have been donated to Simonds’ Clothes Closet mistakenly, please contact our Lost & Found PTA Committee Chair.  Remember:  Please write your child’s name on all personal belongings!
