WHAT IS SMTF?

SMTF stands for Simonds Music and Technology Foundation. It is a unique organization to Simonds and was created in the early 2000’s by a dynamic group of parents who wanted music and technology to be a priority at Simonds. Year after year, SMTF bridges the gap in funding from the district by directly funding the music and technology programs at Simonds.

SMTF’s mission is to enable the growth of existing, and the creation of new music and technology educational programs for all Simonds students. The programs supported by SMTF enhance our students’ academic and artistic experience at Simonds and provide them with the tools that will help them succeed in middle school and beyond.
