The Music program at Simonds is 100% funded through the Simonds Music and Technology Foundation. Without your financial support, our students wouldn’t be enriched with a well-rounded education that includes free weekly music instruction in each grade and yearly grade-level performances.
WEEKLY MUSIC CLASSES
From Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade, each class joins our instructor from our vendor Music For Minors, for one period of music education every week during school hours. The program is adapted to each grade and follows state and national standards. Students enjoy learning about everything from rhythms, to instrument experimentation, to exposure to different composers and styles.
