The University of Toledo Upward Bound Program is an academic, pre-college program designed to help prepare and motivate low-income, first-generation college-bound students. Nine months of academic services are provided to students including tutoring, classroom instruction, college tours, and conferences.
Eligible students must be in the 9th or 10th grade, have a 2.0 cumulative GPA, be willing to take college preparatory classes, and be a low income, first-generation college-bound, and/or disabled student. You must have a Toledo address in order to participate in Upward Bound.
