During the first few weeks of engaging with students and professors in this course, I was focused so much on 'getting through' that I sometimes missed the human element and the importance of learning through exchanging ideas. Although we supported each others' learning in the discussion groups, seeing people in person added a dimension that I am grateful for! Even the stressful battles of will and tussles over design choices taught me a lot about putting people before process. Learning was so much more than knowledge attainment (although there was also a lot of that!). It was about relationship building (and mending) and feeling support through what was such a stressful and personally challenging time in my life. The way people came together to support me was amazing. I have outlined some of the conversations and 'aha' moments in my reflections on our Final Project, but here I want to show what mattered most, and that is the people! I will let their faces speak for themselves!
