‘Sleepers and Rails’

Members were entertained last Tuesday (17th May 22) by Russell Hannah and John Turbidy, two well known personalities in the Illawarra Folk scene. Both have been involved in the Folk Festival for a number of years. Russell, supported by John, related a myriad of railway stories as told to him by his father a long time train driver. He had also researched a lot for himself to document in his new book 'All Aboard' that he wrote in conjunction with Jim Haynes.
