- In 1968, Spanish director Narciso Ibañez Serrador produced a dramatized biography of Bernard Shaw whose title (The Great Cynic) is quite telling. I am really sorry for those of you who can't speak Spanish, it is quite a treat. The actor who plays Shaw is Narciso Ibáñez Menta, father of the director.
