You can choose any website builder you are comfortable with. This website is made via GoogleSites. I highly recommend using GoogleSites, however the choice is up to you if you are more comfortable with another website builder. The video here gives directions on how to build your own GoogleSlide site.

THE WHY
This personal artist portfolio site is to help you create and organize work in a digital portfolio:
This website will eventually be "dissected" with only the strongest parts being physically submitted to AP College Board
You will create a separate page for every work of art and it will contain both your final artwork (selected works) and your process documentation (sustained investigations)
THE WHAT
On your Portfolio Websites you should include:
A Home Page with...
Artist Photo
Artist Statement
Tab 1: Inquiry
Tab 2: Sustained Investigations
Project 1: Title
Project 2: Title
Project 3: Title
Project 4: Title
Project 5: Title

What is an Artist Statement?
Artist Statement Guidelines (no longer than 600 characters)
You should include:
1) A general introduction to you.
2) It should open stating your basic ideas, themes, values, concepts, feelings about art.
3) The second paragraph should go into detail about your plans of putting what you stated in #2 (above) into your work...how will you show these ideas, these concepts, etc
Characters: This is a word you will hear often in AP 2D. For the writing portion of your portfolio you are allotted a specific number of characters. This should not be confused with words or letters. Characters includes symbols, spaces, AND letters. Make sure you know how to get an exact character count when you write.
