The Shambhala Kitchen provides home-cooked vegetarian meals throughout the day for reasonable prices.

There are also many vendors selling everything from cakes to burritos.

- To reduce our collective trash volume, please bring your own re-usable cups, plates, bowls, and cutleries. We will provide washing stations. Please also bring a refillable water bottle. There will be water stations.

- There are no cooking facilities on site, but you can cook for yourself on a bonfire. You can make a bonfire at where you camp.

- At the camp site, water comes from a well and it is not drinkable. Water for drinking and cooking is sold at the festival. For your safety, we do not recommend you drink tap water in Thailand.

- Please be reminded that the gas fuel cylinders for portable camping stove are not allowed on the plane. You can bring only the main body part and purchase a gas cylinder at a camping supply store in Chiang Mai. Cylinders such as Coleman seem to be available. Japanese cassette stoves cannot be used because they don’t sell the gas for them in Thailand.

シャンバラまつり会場内には、まつり本部が開く「ヘポパ・キッチン」が毎年「まかない隊」の料理スタッフによって低価格で食事を提供していますし、色々な飲食店が出店予定です。

祭り全体のゴミの量を少なくするため、また自然に敬意を‘払う意味で、使い捨てでなく洗って何回も使える自分の皿やコップ、フォークや箸などを持参してください。飲料水のステーションを設置します。ご自分の水筒を持ってきて下さい。

会場には炊事施設はありませんが主に焚き火で自炊は可能です。焚き火は直火オッケーです。

水はキャンプ場なので井戸水は使えますが飲めません。飲み水や料理に使う水は会場で販売しています。タイでは水道水は飲まないほうが無難です。

キャンプ用の携帯コンロを持ってくる人はガスやガソリンの燃料ボンベは飛行機に載せられません。本体部分だけ持ってきてガスのボンベはチェンマイのキャンプ用品店で購入できます。コールマン等のボンベは手に入るようです。日本のカセットコンロはガスがタイでは入手困難なので使えません。
