ON-SITE CAMPING (Free for the festival attendees with admission ticket):

- The new festival site doesn’t have a dormitory like the one we had the last time, so basically, everyone (except those who will stay out) will camp. Make sure to bring your own tent, sleeping bag and mattress!

- There is no rental of tents nor blankets at the festival this year, however, we will sell a limited number of tents and blankets, which we used to rent out, for 100 THB each at the festival’s convenient store.

- You can find tents for around 500 THB in Chiang Mai and Chiang Dao. Cheap tents that are made in Thailand will do the job as it’s a dry season and it rarely rains in February. Having said that, the festival site is in a mountain area in the north and it gets quite cold in the morning and at night. A warm sleeping bag and a good mattress are recommended.

OFF-SITE: GUESTHOUSE/COTTAGE - Book a guesthouse in Chiangdao

- Chiang Dao, where the festival is held, is also a tourist destination. There are Chiang Dao Mountain, caves, and hot springs. The area is known for the greatest number of Thailand’s Hill tribes living.

- Chiang Dao is an idyllic place and attracts many long-term travelers. You may find nice cottages and guesthouses in great locations at reasonable prices.

- Rent a motorbike in Chiang Dao or Chiang Mai. You can commute from your guesthouse to the festival venue easily.

キャンプする：

●　今年からの場所には以前のようなドミトリーなどの建物はありませんので、基本キャンプになります。(入場券をお持ちの祭り参加者は、キャンプ代無料)　但しテント、寝袋、マットレスなどは持参でお願いします。

●　テントや毛布のレンタルは有りませんが、例年レンタルで使用していた中古テントと毛布をそれぞれ100バーツで、会場内のコンビニにて販売します。（数に限り有り、早い者勝ち）

●　チェンマイ、チェンダオでも、テントは500Bぐらいから購入できます。タイ製のチープなテントですが、開催時期は乾季で雨が降らないので問題ありません。しかしタイとは言え北の山間部ですので、朝晩はかなり冷え込みます。寝袋やマットレスはしっかりしたものをお勧めします。

●　夜は下から冷えてきます。チェンダオで売っている布団マットを敷くと、地面の凸凹を感じることなく快眠できます。これ、おすすめ！祭りは長いので快眠は大切ですよ。

コテージ、ゲストハウスに泊まる：

● まつりがあるチェンダオ市は、チェンダオ山や洞窟や温泉などの観光地でもあり、またタイで一番多くの種族の山岳民族が住んでいるエリアです。

● チェンダオ周辺はのどかなエリアなので、長期滞在する旅行者もいて、高くもない値段でいいロケーションのコテージやゲストハウスが数軒あります。

● チェンダオやチェンマイでレンタルバイクを借りて会場との往復をすれば楽です。
