**Our supply of cushions and tents was destroyed in storage during the covid years so we cannot supply tents to volunteers.  Please be prepared to bring your own.  If you need help finding a tent to buy/rent/borrow you can ask on the FB page.**

-----------YOGA TEACHERS APPLICATION-------------

We have reserved 2 times for OFFICIAL daily Yoga Workshops:

Morning Vinyasa Flow (8:45-10)

Afternoon Hatha Flow: (4-5)  

*Also there is often opening for Acro yoga facilitators.

We are looking for 1 or 2 instructors to commit for each time period.

All workshops at the festival are by donation, in the spirit of sharing.

All workshop facilitators are expected to buy their own entrance ticket. You are welcome to ask for donations for your workshops.

If you would like to apply as an instructor/yoga workshop facilitator, please fill out the following application and email with the subject YOGA to:

2. Are you a Vinyasa Flow (Morning), Hatha, (afternoon) and/or Acro teacher (Evening)?

3. Have you attended shambhala before? (details)

4. will you be available to commit to teach every day of the festival? 8th-16th?

5. Would you be willing to commit to teach every other day between 8th-16th?

6. If you cannot commit to every day or every other day, specifically which dates are you available to commit to teach?

7. Are you certified and how many years/classes have you been teaching? Where do you teach? (details)

8. Do you have experience leading mixed level classes as small as 3 or as big as 60 people?

9. Were you trained in and are you able to include safety and focus on proper alignment in your classes?

10. Are you trained in and able to do small adjustments and fix alignment while you are teaching? (In the past we have gotten a lot of complete beginners at this festival and a teacher that can help these students while still challenging the more advanced students is ideal)

11. Can you project your voice outdoors to possibly a class of up to around 40 people?

12. Would you be interesting in being an assistant teacher and helping with alignment and adjustments in the class while another teacher is teaching?

13. If you are teaching would you like another teacher to walk around and help with alignment and adjustment during your class?

Answering no to any of these questions does not disqualify you. But from these answers we will choose the most qualified applicant(s).
