Settings

The Settings page allows you to set the defaults for things like measurement units etc. The settings are device specific. It's best to keep the same settings on all devices.

Images are saved within the app (and iCloud if enabled). If you elect to 'Save Photos to PhotoLibrary' then images will also be saved as a second copy in your PhotoLibrary. The default setting is off. These second copies will never be deleted by the app. They can only be deleted from within your Photos app. Only Images acquired AFTER turning this on will be saved to the Library. Old images will remain 'app only'

Item Counts are visible on the various list screens for Fabric, Patterns, Projects and Ideas. For those of you who would rather not see how many Patterns you have collected, you can switch off the count here !

Allowing access to your Contacts will enable you to store people's measurements in their Contact Note field. See Measurements for more. You can disable the front page button 'Contacts & Measurements' by setting 'Show Contacts' to OFF. This setting does not alter Contact access permissions, which has to be done through Device Settings/Privacy instead.

The small cloud icon in the Settings title bar indicates the iCloud status and any error messages. The icon is also present on the lower right corner of the Main Menu screen. If you don't want it on the Main Menu screen, you can turn it off. The Settings page title cloud icon is always visible.
An 'Account Locked' message means that your iCloud account is not accessible to the app. This is either because you are not properly signed into iCloud on your device, or permission to use iCloud has been denied in the Device Settings. Visit the device settings to rectify this. The app works fine with the iCould account locked, but you can't sync between devices nor is data backed up to iCloud.
