Ice Helm is a dwarven settlement that is comprised of folk who had to relocate from their original home. Drop by for a visit to find out more!
Welcoming Committee
Bardon is a man among men, especially amidst his dwarven kin. He is one of the village elders and is always willing to lend a hand or offer a bit of advice. His weakness is sugar cookies.
Sleigh Trucker
Old Nick is a hardworking fellow who does his part, usually he spends his days ferrying supplies. This year he's taken up the distillery and hired an apprentice.Â
Huntswoman
Helga is the baby sister of Thorin and Fat Jack Stouthammer. Her brothers take their wares to the big city while Helga keeps their home and hunts in her spare time. She's quite the taxidermist too.
Spice Merchant
This little lady is gifted in the art of selling wares at market. Olga can sell sand in a desert or ice to people in the north. She's known for her shrewd business savvy. She's finally holding hands with Harlin.
Basket Weaver
This stout fellow is good at hammering back flagons of mead and has a fair hand at weaving baskets too. Harlin spent years of chickening out, until Granny Orespout cuffed him in the head. They are holding hands now, or else.
Candlestick Maker
Markle is a sweet fellow who would give you the shirt off of his back if it would fit. He's also smitten with the elven lady he rescued from the snow, but she doesn't know it. A man can dream.
Gopher
Tarial was rescued by these dwarves in the middle of a blizzard! She spends her days helping around the settlement, doing errands and fetching things for people. She's enamored with the ice people.
Butcher
Gibold and his family have been butchers for as long as anyone can recall, one of the original settlers of this place. He's fiercely protective over his granddaughter Jaleth who is the apple of her grandpapa's eye.
Goat Herder
Jaleth spends most of her times either helping her grandpa out or herding goats. While most of the goats are rounded up and used in the village to keep folks fed, she diligently names every one.
Baker
He's said to be easy on the eye and a gentle soul. Dorgon hasn't really pursued a romantic interest, keeping his little sister out of trouble has been more than enough to keep this poor guy busy.
Gossip
If you're looking for someone to dish out an opinion on someone in the village, Priss is your girl. She doesn't have many other marketable skills but a nosy demeanor and a gift for spotting the unthinkable make her good at this job.
Frost Brawler
Hogarth is simple, for an ice giant. He likes ale, beer, spirits and he likes adventure. He and Shimmer found these dwarves long ago and he stuck around for the copious amounts of ale. He's not a slacker though, if there is trouble, Hogarth will put a body on ice, literally.
Dancer, Snowcaller
Shimmer is what some might consider a water elemental, except that her normal form is that of ice. She dances and sings, calling the snow down when it is needed.
Toymaker
Earl is a man who is gifted with his hands and holds great creative talent. As a youth he studied as an apprentice to Nick's grandfather who could carve exquisite animals out of any hunk of wood.
Elder
Oglebort Orespout and his clan have been around since the beginning. He oversees much of the village and runs the mead hall as well. He's a master storyteller and more than willing to share tales about his people's traditions.
Bar Wench
Moira is the daughter of Oglebort and Granny. She's a hard working single mother who loves her family, the holidays, and men with fancy mustaches. Her personality is a jovial one and she loves a good dirty joke. Make sure that you don't get handsy though or she'll lay you out.
Slacker
Dingler is the youngest of the Orespout clan, his talents seem to lean to chasing skirts and backtalking his sister. He also does anything that Granny Orespout orders him to do because crossing her is grounds for punishments no boy should endure. He is now Nick's apprentice although most of his job is shoveling hay and manure.
GranddaughterÂ
Sassy is as her name implies and she can usually be seen sweeping up the mead hall or taking a broom to the heads of unruly patrons. Right now though, she's pitching in to help restore Salem! Deep down she's a sweetheart but remember, she's a ginger through and through.
Granny is the matron of the village. Bossy to the bone, this little lady makes sure that everyone is cared for, that things get done, and that every last twinkling light is in working order. If you don't see her out and about, she's probably catching up on sleep, the poor dear.
