Generally speaking, we encourage one-shot, one-time events as they are easiest to manage.
Pop-up events, such as arm wrestling contests or sudden attacks on player-built structures by 'monsters' or 'mobs,' are typically straightforward to handle. (For example, I once played Percival the goose, leading to several entertaining pop-up events involving Raghnall.)
If you need additional help from staff, please list what type of help you might need in advance.
Examples include: Building something, spawning items, helping to keep track of things, etc.
Giving us this information helps us to know how to support your events. We can assist you in a variety of ways that vary from helping you figure out times to spawning in mobs to fight, or special rewards in some instances.
Regarding mini-plots and side-plots: Mini-plots and side-plots generally run independently from main server lore, often parallel but not directly connected. This allows us to guide the overarching narrative while still enabling player-driven storylines.
For more complex mini-plots, such as personal plot arcs, please submit a ticket with your concept, outline, and desired timeline. It is vital that you establish your character on the server in role-play prior to pursuing an in-depth personal arc.
