The OSPRA 103 Form is also referred to as the "Authorization to Forward Criminal History Record Information to the City School District of the City of New York Form."
This form is to be filed by individuals who have submitted, or are in the process of submitting their fingerprints to the New York State Education Department and are seeking employment with the NYCPS.
Any applicant nominated for an NYC Public Schools (NYCPS) employee position is eligible to submit an OSPRA 103 form via the HR Connect Portal. Applicants who are considered "Persons Not On Budget" (PNOB), as well as Teaching Fellows/Collaboratives (“Roster Evaluate” titles in Applicant Gateway) are also eligible to submit an OSPRA 103.
On a daily basis the HR Connect Service Center works on the OSPRA103 queue. We first review the State Teach system to deteremine whether or not the applicant has a Teach account and to check for the exsistance of fingerprints. Once Teach is carefully reviewed, the tranfsfer of fingerprints from the State to the NYCPS is processed through Applicant Gateway.
