These events also serve as practice opportunities for Astronomy Guides, where we support hands-on practicing and examinations for qualification.
We hold astronomy-themed craft workshops related to stars and space.
In the past, we have organized events where participants made telescopes, star charts, and bookmarks.
We visit schools and various organizations to provide stargazing guidance and astronomy-related workshops.
We also respond to requests from various groups, offering stargazing sessions or astronomy-themed craft workshops.
We hold study sessions on stars and space, including ‘Star Story Sessions,’ where participants can learn about astronomy and improve their skills.
In addition to events for the public, we also facilitate information exchange among our members.
There are no strict rules for how to guide stargazing sessions.
If you want to try starting a completely new activity, we encourage you to join us!
The starry sky and the universe can enrich our lives when we observe them, experience them, and learn about them. The Astronomy Guides share this wonder with others.
The Astronomy Guide (星のソムリエ®) qualification course is designed to help anyone who loves stars and the universe become a guide, sharing their passion with others.
Even if you want to guide people under the starry sky, it can be a rather high hurdle. However, there are people out there who are eager to learn about stars and the universe, even in small ways. If you have a love for the stars, there is a qualification that can give you a little push and build your confidence, helping you take the first step toward becoming a star guide. That’s why the Astronomy Guide Qualification Course was created. Start by taking the course and aim to earn the Astronomy Guide (Associate Guide) qualification.
