WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIRST METHODIST SANCTUARY

You will join us in praise and prayer in the Traditional Wesleyan Style when you worship God in the Sanctuary.

You can expect a warm welcome at both the 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM Sunday worship services. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday each month, and is always open to everyone.

You can expect to hear sound Biblical teaching, preaching and interpretation, with an emphasis on Christian discipleship, love of neighbor, and grace. Most of the time worship is led by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Cathe Evins, although preaching and worship duties are shared among all of our pastors. We are also blessed with outstanding musicians and choir.

WORSHIP IN OUR BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC SANCTUARY

Our beautiful Gothic Sanctuary features a dramatic high ceiling with flying buttresses, breath-taking stained glass windows, a rose window high above the altar, and pipe organ and grand piano. The Sanctuary is frequently adorned with colors that represent the seasons of the Christian calendar.

Nursery care is always available for children under age five in the Nursery located in room 206.

Children's Church is available for children 5-10 years of age in during the 10:30 am service.
