Blessing of the Backpacks

Join us Sunday, August 9, during the 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM worship services. Students and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks for a special blessing as we begin a new school year.

Step Up Sunday

August 9 is also Step Up Sunday! Children and youth will move into their new Sunday School classes based on the grade they recently completed. Children who completed PK3 may begin attending the Children’s Sunday School class in Room 208 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Children who completed 2nd grade will move into the 3rd through 5th Grade Sunday School class in Room 203. Students who completed 5th grade will move into the Youth Sunday School class in Room 207. If there are not enough students to hold the Youth class, they will meet with the 3rd through 5th Grade class in Room 203.

Youth Is Moving to Sunday Nights!

Beginning Sunday, August 23, our Youth Ministry will meet every Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Students can look forward to the same welcoming community, meaningful friendships, engaging activities, a shared meal, and biblical teaching designed to help them grow in their faith and navigate everyday life with confidence.

Youth nights are a place where students can belong, ask honest questions, have fun, and build lasting relationships with other students and trusted adult leaders. We are excited to begin this new season together and cannot wait to welcome our students on Sunday nights!

FMCYA Is Going Weekly!

Beginning Wednesday, August 26, First Methodist College & Young Adults will meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Parlor.

FMCYA is a welcoming community for adults ages 18 to 36 who want to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and connect with others in a similar season of life. Our weekly gatherings will include Bible study, honest conversation, prayer, encouragement, and time to simply enjoy being together.

In addition to our Wednesday night meetings, we will also plan one fun outing each month. Whether you are in college, beginning your career, raising a family, or figuring out what comes next, there is a place for you here.
