SCP-049's Chamber Area also known as Research Sector-02, is the containment area for SCP-049 and the maintenance room. Sector-02 also has an Armory and possibly medical cabinets and SCP pedestals.

During the containment breach, the main system went down, this especially takes affect in Sector-02. when approached you'll find that the whole sector's power is down, with lights being off being open but and all doors are open but not operational. a map is provided if individuals take the elevator down. If individuals go down they may follow the map to the maintenance room to turn on the sector's back-up generator, restoring power in the area making doors operational and lights turn on.
