Students are able to easily lift the teacher off of the ground using a lever. This demonstration allows students to decrease the amount of effort required to lift such a large amount of weight. The direction of the force was also changed by using a lever. 

Materials: 

1) 1 long piece of 2x4 

2) Small piece of wood to act as a fulcrum 

3) Brave Teacher
