Wave Model Slinky Demonstration
This demonstration has been used in new grade 2 curriculum and old grade 9 curriculum to model the energy in a wave. This demonstration allows students to see the relationship between the wavelength and frequency of a wave.
Note: Using a coloured slinky helps students see the wavelength and frequency better.

Electromagnetic Song
This video was used in the Science 9 Space Exploration unit but fits well with the grade 8 Light and Optical Devices unit. Students were singing this song after it was played, as well as during their quiz and test. It is a catchy song that makes it easier for some students to remember the order of the electromagnetic spectrum.
