During March, the teams challenged each other with specific colors and then organized spring walks to discover relevant items through research. Afterwards, they jointly created a colorful flower with petals representing the different colors and their discoveries. Each school then presented its Nature Journal, made from waste materials, showcasing the natural changes that students had detected. Additionally, they created a Spring Word Cloud with seasonal words, leading to the creation of a Spring Multilingual Dictionary. They also formed a school chain, challenging the next team to focus on a specific landscape art using the Artful Thinking Routine (See-Think-Wonder). At the end, they met and represented the paintings in an online meeting using their bodies. Based on their research, they proposed one item that was used to draw a spring masterpiece online. The month’s activities concluded with natural math games, where the teams paired up and challenged each other to create and play a game using natural materials. For formative assessment, they used emotional faces made from natural materials.
