Some of the animals who come through our doors are fighting battles most people never see. In our sick bay, we give the toughest cases every chance we possibly can — medical care, comfort, warmth, and love.

Some of them make it.
And some of them don’t.

Every loss breaks our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that each one was cared for, valued, and never alone in their final moments. They mattered. They were loved. And they left this world knowing kindness.

We share these stories not for sympathy, but to honor their lives and to show the reality of rescue — the hard, emotional side that comes with fighting for animals who had nowhere else to go.
