The Rutherford Citizens to Save Our Pool advocacy group was formed in response to the Rutherford Board Of Education 2018 facilities referendum plan which proposed the destruction of the Rutherford Community Pool. Following the defeat of that plan, the group's priority interest is to ensure that funding is secured to guarantee the long-term viability and sustainability of the pool. A pool that is properly maintained, upgraded and made available for a wide variety of community programs is an asset that benefits the entire community.
