VANMAHOTSAVA DAY

Continued....

A prayer song and a daily prayer is the first thing we do every morning in school to have a good start. A thought of the day was shared. Next to enlighten the event more, a group of students sang an environmental song. A group dance with a skit was displayed by the students showing a brave act and conveying a message that existance of nature is very important for our mother Earth. Our respected principal Fr. Jilson Tom also shared a few heartwarming words regarding the festival and explained us how we can bring a good change by doing a simple act of planting. Later, it was almost time to end the event hence we asked the students to lift up their hands for the pledge to the nation. Eventually we concluded with The National Anthem. One fascinating thing we did after the event of Vanmahotsava was that all the leaders and teachers were asked to plant a variety of tiny saplings in a plant pot so that they could grow beautifully and yield well.

Vanmahotsava Day has always been a long-awaited day for all of us to be helpful towards our mother nature if not possible everyday. We should always remember a little plant can save us from a big mishappening.
