TEACHERS' DAY

Continued ....

They were taken atop open vehicles, where they stood and waved at the students seated in the assembly square, which was decorated with balloons and festoons. The vehicles carrying the teachers were escorted by four Royal Enfield motorcycles. The students burst out clapping and cheering as soon as they saw their beloved teachers being brought in with such grandeur. The teachers were then greeted with red roses and they walked down the red carpet to take their seats. A nice touch were the chocolates kept on the chairs where the teachers would sit. The program of then commenced with a prayer dance and lighting of the lamp. Our principal welcomed the teachers and shared what it means to be a teacher.

All the classes performed for the teachers and the teachers had a lovely time seeing their beloved students putting up colourful and beautiful performances for their guides and mentors.

After the gala program was over, all the teachers were thanked by the Fr. Agi Paul, CSC, Vice Principal and everyone cut a cake together. Like every year, the school had arranged for a sumptuous feast for the teachers and also gave a fabulous gift for each teacher.

All in all, it was a grand day and all the teachers felt appreciated. Thank you Holy Cross for gifting the teachers with such a wonderful day.
