PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Continued....

If you hold the glass for a minute, you won’t feel much weight. But if you have it for 10 minutes, you will feel a little more weight, and it gets heavier with hours. If you hold it for the entire day, your hands will go numb and in pain.

Similarly, when you carry stress, anger, or hatred with you, it becomes a problem and worsens if you sleep with it. Therefore, you should learn to relinquish your stress and never sleep with it. If you can do something about it, do it. In the other case, just leave it and work towards your goals, or it kills your productivity.

While the above anecdote can be applied to anybody, I want to highlight its message for our children. Dear students, you finished your unit exams and will soon have your final exams. Your studies become a burden and stress only when you accumulate them for the last moment. I earnestly desire and advise you to regularise and systematise your study habits and methodologies. Refocus from rote learning to conceptual learning. Develop a habit of forming as many possible questions as possible from the textbook. Balance your screen time. Prioritise your time over pleasure for a happy life.

Dear readers, as you browse through the pages of this newsletter, you will see write-ups on the activities and programs of the school. I take this opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge our able administrative staff, competent faculty members, and dedicated support staff for their commitment and the smooth conduct of the events meaningfully and orderly.

I wish all our Satgamaya readers a happy reading and a savouring view of the photo gallery. God bless Holy Cross!
