Youth Trips
We strongly believe that a family's financial situation should NOT prevent any person from participating in God's work in the world. The Del Barnhill Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Sardis Gift Trust Scholarship Fund were established to enable any person active in the Youth Ministry program of Sardis Presbyterian Church to attend Montreat Youth Conference or other Youth Ministry-sponsored retreats, trips, or conferences. Summer 2024 Trips
CROSS Hometown Mission Week
When: June 9-14, 2024
Cost: $350, $200 deposit
Who: Completed 5th-12th grade
Join us for a week of local mission and FUN right here in Charlotte. We will have all meals and stay overnight at Myers Park Presbyterian Church and explore how God is calling us to love and serve our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and other injustices here in Charlotte.
Worship and Music Conference
When: June 16-22, 2024
Cost: $500, $200 deposit
Who: Youth Choir and Handbells
The Worship and Music conference is an intergenerational conference in Montreat, NC for children, youth, & adults who love to sing, play, learn, and worship together. You MUST attend 70% of choir and/or handbell rehearsals throughout the year to be eligible for this trip.

Montreat Youth Conference
When: July 14-20, 2024
Cost: $500, $200 deposit
Who: Completed 8th-12th grade
Montreat is a Presbyterian Conference Center in the mountains of NC. Youth conferences happen there every summer and nearly 1000 youth gather each week to worship, be in small group, play, and meet youth from all over the country. It is a favorite place for the Sardis youth and a very formative time.
