8th Grade Confirmation

Youth in 8th grade (or 9th grade!) are invited to take part in this year’s Confirmation journey—an intentional season of exploring what they believe, why they believe it, and how faith shapes their lives. The class will meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in Room 106 of the Education Building, beginning September 7.

Throughout the weeks ahead, participants will engage with scripture, wrestle with big questions, and discover what the Presbyterian Church (USA) teaches and practices. They will be guided by mentors from the congregation, supported by dedicated teachers, and encouraged by church staff every step of the way.

At the end of the process, youth will have the opportunity to choose become members of Sardis Presbyterian Church—but that is not required in order to participate. Confirmation is about deepening understanding, claiming faith as their own, and recognizing how God is at work in their lives and in the world.
