Confirmation

Youth who are in 8th grade have the opportunity to participate in our confirmation class. Confirmation will meet on Sundays at 10am in room 105 of the Education Building beginning on September 10. Confirmation is a time of exploring faith, asking questions, and learning what it is that the Presbyterian Church (USA) believed. At the end of confirmation, youth will have the opportunity to join the church, though this is not required nor is it the point of confirmation! 

As youth engage with scripture, theology, and mission in new ways, they'll walk along this journey with mentors from the congregation and dedicated teachers as well as the church staff. 

Please note the following important dates: 

• Bible Presentation: September 10, 2023, 9am Worship

• Fall Confirmation Retreat: September 15-17, 2023, Sardis House

• All Youth Retreat: January 12-14, 2024, Montreat

• Spring Confirmation Retreat: March 8-10, 2024, Montreat

• Joining Sunday: March 17, 2024, 11am Worship
