Dwarf galaxies are faint objects in the sky. However, their internal structure and distribution can provide valuable information from which we can constrain the current theory of galaxy formation and evolution and serve as laboratories for understanding the mysterious nature of dark matter. Moreover, there are discrepancies when comparing the number and distribution of dwarf galaxies in the Milky Way with an established cosmological model. To solve this mystery, it is essential to determine whether the Milky Way and its dwarf galaxy companions follow the expected patterns of large spiral galaxies or if the Milky Way is an exception. A state-of-the-art machine learning technique is used to identify satellites on the imaging database of large-scale imaging surveys.
