I am an astronomer originally from Nepal. Since 2007, I have been actively involved in extragalactic research. I mainly study the formation and evolution of low mass galaxies. For this, I use world class astronomical facilities such as the ESO - VLT, Gemini telescope, VLA and GMRT.

I obtained my PhD degree at the University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany. I am currently a research professor at the Astronomy department in Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
