Devara's Light

When the player speaks with the NPC for the first time:

^ May Devara's light shine upon you.


  • If the player chooses the "Talk" option:

^ Devara's Light covers all things, its warmth is felt even in the shade.

^ I am a conduit of Devara's Light. I am Her vessel.

^ All creatures on earth may bask in Her light, and receive Her forgiveness.


  • If the player is from another Creed:

^ Hello, traveler. You're a stranger to Devara's Light, are you not?


  • If the player answers "Yes":

^ We are pilgrims of the Goddess Devara, Illuminator of All.

^ Without light, there is nothing. It is said: "In darkness chaos dwells, and in chaos there is no hope." Every night the sun sets, and we see Her light flicker... in candles... in torches.

^ But the dawn of the next day is Her blessing. Chaos is quelled, order is restored.


  • If the player answers "No":

^ So you've heard of the Goddess Devara? We are taught by Her to respect those of other faiths, so you are welcome here.

^ Of course, it is Devara's wish that all should find salvation in her bosom.

^ You can pray to Her at the Earthen Vessel. The water She pours will cleanse the shadows from your heart.

^ Those who do not follow Devara are still welcome in this sanctuary. We will see to it that you receive rest and resupply.

The Iron Ones

When the player speaks with the NPC for the first time:

  • If the player chooses the "Talk" option:

^ You want to know why a godless creed deals in prayers?


  • If the player answers "Yes":

^ The weak call out to divine powers for aid, but we Mountainsmiths are not weak.

^ What we do have to call out to, though, is the will of our ancestors.

^ The will of dead heroes mends our flesh, gives us strength, and makes our weapons sing.

^ Here: a Horn of Will, so dead heroes may hear your call for aid.

^ So you already know from where we draw our strength.
