"A large-bore flintlock pistol issued as a sidearm to heavy infantry and cavalry units in the militaries of more advanced nations. It is capable of inflicting grievous injuries at close range and can handle a variety of ammunition, but suffers from dramatically reduced accuracy at greater distances. Despite this weapon's impressive destructive potential, however, even the most skilled of marksmen rely far more heavily upon their swords than their guns."

• Pistol weapons have a 1.5x damage multiplier on their attacks, giving them effectively a 50% higher attack rating than the in-game value shows.

• Despite no cosmetic difference, using a buff item on your weapons will enhance your main-hand weapon and your off-hand pistol.

• Equipping a main-hand weapon with the "Extra Blades/Extra Blunt" special tag will tilt the off-hand pistol's damage 25% in the chosen direction (75%/25%).
