Our research group focuses on understanding past environmental changes, especially the carbon cycle and mass extinctions, by analyzing geological samples. Specifically, we investigate various biomarkers and geochemical proxies in sedimentary rocks to reconstruct past ecosystems and environmental conditions. Our research spans periods from Precambrian to Cenozoic and covers various aspects of earth science, such as geology, sedimentology, geochemistry, and paleontology.
