Project Intern @ NCCBM
This was part of my coursework at BITS Pilani (called PS-1). During this internship I harnessed Python to craft a web application that applies thermodynamic principles to assess the heat equilibrium in pyroprocessing units, specifically, the Cooler and Kiln. This innovation currently proves invaluable in the cement industry, precisely pinpointing heat consumption areas within these units. The application empowers the simulation of heat distribution along the kiln surface and accurately estimates radiation-induced heat losses. In a matter of seconds, it delivers critical plant metrics, including cooler efficiency and losses. Notable libraries employed in its creation encompass Streamlit, Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, Scipy, and Matplotlib. Here is a demo of the Web App on Youtube!
Some test data results from the Web App!
