WHAT IS THE PTFA?
At Sacred Heart, we believe in joy, community, and giving every child the chance to thrive. That’s the heart of our PTFA.
Our purpose is simple: to build a joyful, inclusive school community and raise funds that enrich every child’s experience.
As a parent, carer, or teacher, you’re already part of the PTFA family. Whether you dip in now and then or get more involved, every contribution helps.
Together we not only raise vital funds for our school, but we also strengthen the sense of community that makes Sacred Heart such a special place. These funds are especially important as schools face ever-tighter budgets. Without PTFA support, many of the extras that enrich our children’s education simply wouldn’t be possible.
The PTFA committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting, held at the start of term, and we meet at least once a term after that. Meetings are open to all parents and staff — and new faces are always warmly welcomed.
A BIG THANK YOU
A heartfelt thank you to every member of our PTFA who gives their time, energy and creativity throughout the year. Together you bring our school community to life with fantastic events that raise the vital funds we depend on.
Every penny raised directly enriches the experience of every child at Sacred Heart: funding trips, workshops, books, and equipment that simply wouldn’t be possible without this support.
Because of you, our children don’t just learn, they thrive.
RULEBOOK
Our PTFA rulebook governs how we operate. These rules define how the association functions, manages funds, and builds community, with rules focusing on supporting the school and providing educational enhancements for students. The rulebook also includes our financial control and expense policy, code of conduct policy, conflict of interest policy, and digital channel policy.
