Easy access from highway. 50 AMP, water, sewer. Gravel/grass pads. About 1/2 sites are pull-through and easy to navigate around CG. Bathhouse blocks have unisex toilets and showers. About 30% annuals/seasonals. Don't worry, the gaudy bright lights of Chateaux du Noel right across the street from the CG are dimmed at 11:00 PM sharp, every night. Owner speaks French, but her husband and daughter speak English. Fire rings at each site, although difficult to see how to use them in some of the cramped sites.

The campground sits on a little spit of land surrounded by St. Lawrence river water. A 15 minute walk up then back down a small steep hill gets you to the rocky beach side with dramatic tides and sensational sunsets. We saw harbor seals and beluga whales breaching the surface from the beach. Another 15 minute walk to the point takes you to a small harbor where you can take excursion boats for whale watching, lighthouse island tours, or a ferry to the other side of the river. There's a microbrasserie brew-pub, a decent farmer's market, and epiceries (small grocery stores) in town.
