ONLINE SERVICES
The goal of the RSIC Police online services is to expand community services and involvement in keeping or community safe and provide our community members with a convenient and a safe method of reporting crimes, suspicious activities, providing constructive feedback, protective services, and request for other related services online.
The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Police Department understands that vital information on crimes failed to reach the police due to the fear of retaliation or did not wish to testify in court. Secret Witness was created to provide an avenue for community members to provide information on a crime to keep our community safe while remaining anonymous.
Secret Witness has been a highly beneficial crime fighting organization in helping to solve thousands of crime in our local area. Please remember that all emergencies must be reported by calling 911. Reporting a false crime is a criminal offense.
The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Police Department understands the importance of protecting our victims and witnesses safe from retaliation and endangerment. The RSICPD online police report allows our community members to submit a police report online without the fear of retaliation and endangerment. Community members can now file online police reports wherever they have internet access. An online police reporting system provides an avenue for community members to formally report a crime that is not considered an emergency when it is safe to do so. Please remember that all emergencies must be reported by dialing 911. Reporting a false crime is a criminal offense.
The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Police Department would like to take this opportunity to foster a healthy relationship with our community members through alternative methods. The comments section is a chance for the community and the Police Department to interact, participate, and work together in a healthy dialogue as a means of partnership to keep our community safe from crime, violence, disorder, and to promote the healthy progression of our Police Department and our community.
