Together with former colleagues from PSSRU we have produced various products to aid social care practice. Some of these are available below. This is a guide to using the Balance of Care Approach for service planners, providers and commissioners. It consists of five items: A written pdf handbook; two versions of an electronic toolkit (one for inpatient care and one for long term care settings) and two completed example versions of the electronic toolkit (one for inpatient care and one for long term care settings).
Disclaimer: The toolkits are provided "as is" and no warranty can be provided. No official user support is available.
The material here is a diary tool which may be used in OT settings to measure the distribution of time use across different activities during the working week. In addition to the tool itself a number of examples of diary studies for other groups are provided to give possible comparators of time use in related occupational settings.
