December 9 is an International day of Commemoration and dignity of the victims of the crime of genocide and of the prevention of this crime. On this day we attract attention to two of the hottest regions of the world where the genocidal policies and the genocidal acts continue: the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic) and the Syrian Arab Republic. In both these areas the root cause is an ideology of racism and pan-Turkism of two Turkish states: Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill in the Joint “Havana Declaration” on February 12, 2016 had noted the particularly dangerous situation of Christians, the huge scale of the persecution, harassment, violence, displacement and killings. Patriarch Kirill later described the situation as "a real genocide."
Unfortunately, even a few months after this Declaration the persecution and genocidal acts in Syria still continue – against the Christians, as well as the representatives of different nations and religions. This horrible process continues in parallel with a flirting both the West and the Russian authorities in their relations with Turkey - the state, that along with the United States had created and does orchestrate ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
Just 49 days after the “Havana Declaration” the bestial genocidal acts (of ISIS style) against the civilian population in another hot zone took place again. On April 2 this year a second Turkish state - Azerbaijan has started a dirty war against the Republic of Artsakh. It is important to mention that the Azerbaijan Army was enforced by special military units from Turkey and those militants who fought on the side of the ISIS. https://sites.google.com/site/stopturkey2015/vote1/artsakh
Ombudsmen of the Republics of Artsakh and Armenia have repeatedly made statements to the media, and reports to the European institutions. However, neither the media in Russia, the United States, Europe and other countries, nor the European institutions do call a spade a spade, do respond and take the effective measures.

Unfortunately, the world powers, religious and international human rights organizations, the official European institutions, never ever had condemned duly the crimes by Azerbaijan in April, like as they had not ever condemned in the past its long-standing genocidal policy and its committed crimes of genocide.
These organizations in favor of short-term conjuncture have taken a neutral position with equalizing of aggressors-"recidivists" and the objects of their aggression. At the same time they name the criminal genocidal actions by the word "conflict", the same like some “public figures” with this word "conflict" still use for Armenian Genocide in Turkey even today, a century after it took place.
The main cause of destabilization in these areas is an ideology - a radical pan-Turkism of two Turkish states: Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The ideology of Turkism is not just dangerous, it is actually a form of genocide. Pan-Turkism is masking as a culture and as a religion (Islam), while remaining essentially aggressive racist doctrine for the seizure of foreign lands and for the creation of a "Great Turan."

Following the spirit of UN Resolution A/RES/69/323 of September 11, 2015 relating to the International day of Commemoration and dignity of the victims of the crime of genocide and of the prevention of this crime,
We do urge not to hush up but to condemn the ongoing for decades in different forms genocidal policy of Turkey and Azerbaijan that unavoidably leads to new and new genocidal crimes.
