Below are photos of Katie Noonan's Oakland High school students who participated in the Weed Warriors Tidal Marsh restoration project beginning in December of 2013 and continuing through March 2017. Under the mentorship of Joel Peter, they helped carry out a scientific investigation of the survivorship of marsh plants at the site. Their findings were presented to scientists and policy-makers at the 2015 State of the San Francisco Bay Delta Estuary Conference in downtown Oakland.
