Colour theory
this is the theory about how colours are used to show different emotions , feelings and perceptions in a person and how colours can combine too make something visually appealing. this also plays a huge part in how we perceive the world around us in real life .this is also applied to all creative areas of design like graphic design and character creation.
for example
-Red=anger/bade
-Green=happiness/good
-Yellow= joy or loneliness
-Purple = mystery or depression
- White = holy/purity
-Blue = sadness
These colours are some examples used in games to evoke emotions in games and the player and make the player feel a certain way in the game without directly telling them how to feel. It sets the mood for a certain level or game and can tell the player about a character just based of the colours they are designed with.
The colors that I identified are shades of blue , green and brown these colors give an eerie feeling and creepy feeling for the game and they contrast to make a nice scene all while giving off theme of loneliness and isolation.
the main colours here are different shades of black which give the feeling of evil and aggression.
The colours also look alive like a controlling colour giving the feeling of loss and helplessness just by the colours used
This has different shades of grey , white and yellow these colours all show purity and holiness and try to show this character as perfection.
these colours also show goodness and and royalty showing the characters personality
this is a good example as these colours are usually used for people with good intentions yet this person is an evil character si it contrasts the normal stereotype.
