step 1:To set your banner size you need to  set it to pixels and put in 1600 , 350 ,300.

step 2: Get colors that you (or off the ones you have made)want then go to gradient tool then drag up to apply the gradient.

step3: Type in using the text function what you want on your banner and set font to impact and font size to 9 and change colour to red.

step 4 : now turn your copy of your writing  into a smart object then apply the stroke in 13 size on the outside  in black using the fx ,copy them 11 times using crtrl J while going right and up on the arrow keys then group 1-10 into as folder.

step 5 :  on your 11th  clear layer styles and  each time press arrow up key and group 11-21 into a folder and keep your 22nd copy out .

step 7: on your 22nd copy apply colour overlay and change colour to blue and then your done ! then export as quick PNG then save it in your external hard drive.

I chose these colors as they compliment each other well and a quite bright to attract the readers attention and  are appealing to look out due the colors complementation on each other.

Throughout this process there is a few common mistakes which i fell into but improved them for example making sure the base color of the text is the right color (red) but these are minor mistakes and the more i did these the less of mistakes like these i made.

In the future i would like to make more advanced banners as my skills grow as  i want to add more complex shapes and designs this would help to show your skills off and how good you are in the games industry to employers.
