Check out my new research on police dramas on TV
While Romeo majored in Spanish and Psychology during their undergraduate career, they hope to eventually explore the intersections of psychology and queer studies through a doctoral program. They have previously found interest in understanding media representations of queerness, addressing social perceptions of queer individuals, and constructing inclusive spaces for those queer folks that otherwise feel unsafe in a largely heteronormative reality. They hope that they can continue contributing to research related to identity, psychology, and queerness.
Until Romeo applies for another doctoral program in the future, they continue their research by serving as the Senior Project Manager of Research & Insights at the Geena Davis Institute and ideating some of their own research.
