The Computer / Scoreboard operator is responsible for running the swim meet’s computer program or scoreboard, ensuring accurate results and smooth operation throughout the event.
Responsibilities:
Run the swim meet computer program or scoreboard, including sorting papers and checking results.
Ensure all race times are recorded and displayed correctly.
Advanced training on the computer/scoreboard is required.
Arrive at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the meet (typically 4:30-5:00 PM) and stay until the end.

OMNI Board / Timing System operator ensures the proper operation of the timing pads and manages the timing system throughout the meet.
Responsibilities:
Set up and test the touch pads before the meet begins.
Swap out faulty pads and perform any necessary troubleshooting.
Tear down and store the pads at the end of the meet.
Operate the OMNI Board console to automatically collect race times from the touch pads, store times after each race, reset the system for each subsequent race, and ensure the scoreboard display is correct.
Advanced training on the OMNI board/timing system is required.
Arrive 60 minutes prior to the start of the meet (typically 5:00 PM) and stay until the end.
