Meet Our Coaches:
Way to go girls! Keep it up! Have a great weekend
Meet Our Coaches:
I began swimming competitively at 8 years old and continued my swim career through my college years at University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I got into coaching about 5 years ago when my children started their own swim careers. I've spent the past 5 years coaching kids at all levels for the Monticello Muskies Swim Club.
I was born and raised in Waukesha Wisconsin. My husband's job brought us to MN about 9 years ago. In addition to coaching, I work at Prairie View Elementary in the media center. This summer we purchased our dream home on Orono Lake in Elk River. While we now consider MN home, we will always be Packers fans! We have two daughters, Emerson (9th grade) and Morgan (7th grade) who will both be swimming for Rogers High School. In my free time I love to read, watch my kids play softball and tennis and spend time on the lake! I look forward to getting to know all the girls this year and to an awesome swim and dive season!
Elizabeth “Bert” Anderson is in her second year as an assistant coach for the high school swim team. A lifelong swimmer, she began competing at age nine and qualified for the Mississippi Zone Team in the 200 and 400 Free at twelve. Her swimming career took her internationally, competing with a German team and the European Forces Swim League, including in the historic 1972 Munich Olympic pool, before knee injuries cut her competitive career short.
A Bethel University graduate and social media manager, Bert lives in Rogers with her husband, Ben, and their three children—Brennan (11th), Kendall (8th), and Keira (5th). She hopes to help every swimmer challenge themselves and enjoy the sport as much as she does.
Taylor's diving journey began unexpectedly in 8th grade after not making the Elk River Soccer Team. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Taylor discovered a deep passion for diving and quickly fell in love with the sport.
Taylor proudly remains on the Top 25 list for Elk River Divers, representing her hometown where she was born and raised. While Elk River will always hold a special place in Taylor's heart, she looks forward to embracing new opportunities and wearing Royal colors this year!
During the day, Taylor works on a real estate team, FinalLee Home, based in Elk River. Outside of work and coaching, Taylor enjoys spending time on the lake, hanging out with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants.
Taylor is excited about coaching; this year marks her first year as a coach, sharing her passion and knowledge with aspiring divers. Taylor is eager for this season and can't wait to help others find their love for swimming or diving.
