The announcer plays a key role in keeping the meet running smoothly by providing real-time updates and important information. This is a position filled/assigned by the board, please reach out to: rgsd728@gmail.com if you are interested! 

Responsibilities include:

• Announcing events, swimmers/divers, current events, heats, and results.

• Helping swimmers stay aware of when they need to prepare for their events.

• Providing general announcements and updates during breaks.

Requirements & Expectations:

• Arrive 30 minutes before the meet begins (typically 5:30 PM).

• Stay for the duration of the meet.

• Familiarity with swim meets is required, but a script will be provided for guidance.
