Visiport

After adequate insufflation, you can use Visport (Manufactured by Medtronic) to place your 1st trocar under vision. 0 degree laparoscope is needed. It comes in 5-11 mm Optical Trocar and 5-12 mm Canula respectively.

GelPort

After making an incision approximately the same size as the surgeon's glove size, place Gelport (Manufactured by Medtronic) and go ahead with hand assisted laparoscopic procedure. GelPort consists of Alexis Wound Retractor and GelSeal Cap. Green Ring of Alexis Wound Retractor goes inside. A right handed surgeon may place Gelport in the Right Lower Quadrant for Right Nephrectomy and in the Periumbilical Region for Left Nephrectomy.

GelPOINT

After making a 4 cm periumbilical incision, place GelPOINT (Manufactured by Medtronic) and go ahead with single site laparoscopic procedure. GelPOINT consists of Alexis Wound Retractor, GelSeal Cap, and 5/10 mm Trocars.
